Audio to MIDI Lab is made by Cyruslin. It is a focused browser tool for turning an audio recording into downloadable MIDI note data.

The site is maintained by Cyruslin as an independent project.

What it does

The home page lets you choose an MP3, WAV, M4A, or FLAC file, detect its notes in the browser, and download a standard MIDI file.

Why it exists

Audio files are useful for listening, but note data is easier to edit, arrange, and inspect. This site exists to make that first conversion step direct, with the audio processed on the device where the file is chosen.
